 We had a lot of fun shooting inside an ancient white foxy, which was our major prop for the shoot. We chose this car because we wanted the actor to recall his past inside an old car, with his girlfirend who had gone, as represented in our video.

 We decided we wanted to film our choruses in the day time with the sunset in atleast one of our shots. So we decided The Park would be the perfect place to film it!

we went to The Central Park, as it was the best park to shoot our scenes and it was the closest to my teammate and the actor meaning they had no trouble with transport or any complains with the location.

Meet Our Actors!

Our cast consisted of one main character and four extras.

Main character:

Our Main character was Abdullah Nisar, 19

We chose him as our main character because of his ability to display his confidence, portray emotions, display energy and he fit the profile of the main character. Based off of Abdullah's style and social media presence we decided his vibe fit our music video. 

Our extras were haadiyah malik, kulsoom khurshid, noor tariq and saba khurshid

Record Label Name // SOCIAL MEDIA RESPONSE

In order to get feedback from my target audience about what name they thought I should use for my record label, I decided to ask some of my friends who happen to be in the target audience. I used Instagram as well as Whatsapp to ask them for their opinions. I sent them a message asking them to pick one of the name and give a reason for their choice.

Here were the responses:

 From these responses, I can tell that the majority of my target audience like the name 'Rumi Records'. They like this name because it is catchy and memorable due to the alliteration. As mentioned previously, 'Rumi Records' happened to be my favourite name idea. Therefore this will be the name that I use for my record company. 

Record Label Name ideas

 From researching into different record labels, I have decided that I want our record label to be both independent and successful. My partner, Romaisa and I have come up with a couple of different name ideas for our record label, these are;

H&R Records

Rumi Records

Atlantic Records

We decided that a record label with both of our names, or initials of both of our names, would be a good choice. We also chose two additional titles that we thought were clever and suited the mood of our song.

'Rumi Records' is probably my favourite of the four name suggestions we've come up with. The name has a sleek and professional vibe to it, in my opinion. It's also a combination of my and my partner's names, with the first and second words beginning with the same letter, which I think looks great. I like 'Atlantic Records,' but the word "atlantic" feels too generic and overused, and it lacks professionalism. Before I start creating logo ideas, I'm going to research which name my target audience loves and why. This will allow me to develop a record label that will appeal to my target demographic.

Chosen Artist Name

After alot of thinking and discussion between me and my partner we decided on the name "Jose Kelly" (pronounced as 'ho-zay') as we both liked it and agreed that this also suited our actor the best. We also got some feedback on this from our actor himself and he seemed to agree as well!

Target Audience

 The song that we have chosen for my music video was released in 2021, therefore my video is likely going to appeal to people who are updated on current music. the song comes under the genre; pop. Therefore the video as well as the song will appeal to any individual who are interested in this genre. 

Who is my Targer Audience?

My target demographic includes both men and women, as well as young adults and teenagers. This is due to the fact that this age group is more engaged in music culture, trends, and live music events such as concerts and festivals. This demographic is also well-versed in modern technology, including cellphones, computers, and tablets. They use social media websites on these gadgets to keep up with current events and news. They also use social media to keep up with their celebrity idols and communicate with their friends. Instagram, Snapchat, Facebook, and other social media platforms are used by my target demographic. I will also be able to use these social media sites to promote and market the music video because it is free and will ensure that my target audience see about it.

Uses and Gratification 

I want my target audience to feel as if they are part of a community after watching my music video. I want them to be able to talk to their friends about the music video as well as discuss with people online about what they liked and what they didnt about the video as well. As I plan to use young adults in my music video I think that the target audience will feel as if they can relate to them more.

Artist Name Ideas

 Below is a brainstorm of possible name ideas for my Artist. I gained inspiration for these names by searching up some Mexican names as I think my actor most resembles the hispanic ethnicity. I also gained inspiration from other artists' names. This brainstorm has allowed

me to visually see my ideas. I am currently not sure what name I like the most. I think that my favourite names are; Jose Kelly, Daniel Carlos, Andres Marida and Mateo Arturo.
