Editing process #4 (Final Editing)

 

Im finally done editing our project! I think the transitions and the effects I added on my clips have made them much better :). My favourite parts arre the last few clips and the ending. I can't wait for you guys to see the final product.

Lighting plans!

 Me and my partner, Romaisa agreed that we wanted to keep a neon theme for most of our shots and also wanted to take sunset shots.

We wanted to use led lights but couldn’t seem to find any around us that we could really afford and so we decided to make them ourselves! We tested out our phones flashlight and cellophane sheets that we bought from a shop near us and pointed those on some random objects in our surrounding and took some test shots and decided that would work perfect for music video.

We also wanted to film chorus shots and the sunset lighting in the background worked perfectly well for that.

Editing process #3

Here I started to add the filler shots and the second and the second last chorus of the song! 

I added the flashback shots we took of the main actor and edited it over the second last chorus with the shot with the blue led light. I edited the flashback of the main girl on top of the singer to make sure the main female protagonist was in focus rather than the extras around her. 

After completing this I am almost done with my editing and just need to edit in the las chorus of the song and the end credits that I planned to leave for the next day.

Editing Process #2

 

I added the first 2 clips of the music video. I added fliters on top of the second clip to match it with the lighting of the first one. They now both have the red led light more vibrant on both the clips

I picked "Filmora" for the editing of my music video since it was the best and easiest to work with for my project.

I began the editing process by selecting a great opening that included the song's title and the artist's name.

I had a lot of possibilities, but I ultimately went with this neon design since I thought it suited my music video and looked really attractive, and I believed it would surely capture the attention of my target audience.

SHOOT DAY #3

 on the third shoot day we shot filler shots with the extras, We made a plan to shoot at a Theme Park since the filler shots were supposed to portray flashbacks. we took candid shots of the extras with joyful emotions to show the conflicting emotions of the different characters.

Equipment

 We used iPhone 13's camera and used its cinematic mode to shoot the shots, some of our shots were also done through gimble but as for our 360 degree shot it was done by hand by me (The camera operator)
